James Tate

James began his training with a three year apprenticeship in the building trade and competed in regional competitions becoming the winner of the 'South East 2010 CITB Skillbuild competition'.

After working for 5 years in the building trade he began working with a local landscaping business in his home town Eastbourne. As his experience and knowledge grew he started his own company when he moved to Morecambe in 2014 and married his wife Megan. Now entering his 13th year in the landscaping trade with 18 years of construction experience, he take immense pride in the quality of his work and is always looking to improve his skills. - Megan even frequently catches him perfectly leveling off his mash at home!

Megan Tate

Megan joined her husband, James, at JM Landscapes in September 2017 after working for 7 years in a management role at another local business that helped her to develop new skills working with graphic design software, communication and managing projects.

Although she could be seen labouring on current projects, after becoming a mum, Megan now mainly works in the office using her skills to design concepts for your projects using 3D software. She will likely also be the first person you speak and is always happy to help our customers with any questions or advice they may need.

Megan also has an interest in the horticultural side of the business and will be looking to offer planting services as she grows in knowledge and experience.

Based in Morecambe we cover areas of North Lancashire and South Cumbria roughly within a 50 mile radius.
